Sharing and privacy
Public by link by default. Password protection and team access on paid plans.
The dashboard link
Every dashboard is published at its own address in the form p<id>-u<id>.vibefactory.ai. You will find it in the Summary tab and on the project card. Send the link to anyone who should see the dashboard; they do not need a VibeFactory account to view it.
Public means the data is public too. A dashboard carries its own copy of the data so it can work on its own. Anyone who has the link can view the charts and can also retrieve the rows behind them. For sensitive numbers, use a private dashboard.
Private dashboards (password)
On paid plans you can require a password to open a dashboard. Set it in either place:
- Before generating: choose Private in the Public/Private dropdown in the prompt box.
- Any time later: open the project's Summary tab and switch the privacy setting to Private.
A password is generated for you and shown in the Access Password box with a copy button. Viewers who open the link are asked for the password before anything loads, including the data. Switch back to Public to remove the password.
The $0.99 single report is public link only.
Giving teammates access to the project
Sharing the project is different from sharing the link. A teammate with project access can open the project page, see the summary and edit the dashboard with prompts, the same as you. To add someone:
- Open the project's Sharing tab and click Add User.
- Enter their email address and click Grant Access. They must already have a VibeFactory account under that email.
- The project appears in their projects list with a Shared badge.
Only the owner can add or remove people or delete the project. Limits by plan:

Custom domains
On paid plans you can serve a dashboard from your own domain, for example reports.yourcompany.com. Open the project's Domain tab, enter the domain, add the DNS records shown, and click verify. An SSL certificate is issued automatically. Subdomains of vibefactory.ai cannot be used as custom domains.
