Customer Analytics Dashboard for Finance

Finance teams and accountants working from P&L exports, budgets, cash flow forecasts and invoices. If your P&L export lives in a spreadsheet, VibeFactory turns it into a customer analytics dashboard you can share as a link, with active customers, new vs returning, retention rate on one page.

What a customer analytics dashboard shows

Active customers, retention and satisfaction from your customer list. Every element is generated from your own column names and values, so the labels match your spreadsheet, not a generic template.

KPI cards

  • Active customers
  • New vs returning
  • Retention rate
  • Satisfaction score
  • Revenue and gross margin
  • Operating expenses by category

Charts and tables

  • Customers by segment
  • Cohort retention
  • Support tickets by type
  • Top accounts
  • • Sortable, filterable table of the underlying rows

The spreadsheet you probably already have

Finance teams usually keep this data in one of these files. Any of them can be the source.

Typical finance spreadsheets

  • P&L export
  • Budget vs actual
  • Cash flow forecast
  • Accounts receivable ageing

Columns that make a good customer analytics dashboard

  • Customer id
  • Signup or first purchase date
  • Segment or plan
  • Activity or spend
  • Status

Column names do not have to match. One header row, one value per cell, and no totals row at the bottom is all that matters.

From spreadsheet to dashboard in five steps

1

Prepare the sheet

One header row and one value per cell is enough. A customer analytics dashboard works best with columns like customer id, signup or first purchase date, segment or plan. Extra columns are fine; the AI ignores what it does not need.

2

Upload the file or connect the sheet

Upload an Excel, CSV or JSON file (up to 20 MB) for a one-off dashboard, or connect a Google Sheet so the dashboard shows current data every time it is opened. Uploading is free and nothing is sent to an AI model until you click Create.

3

Say what you want to see

Optional, but it helps. For example: "Customer Analytics Dashboard for our finance team. Show customers by segment and cohort retention, and highlight active customers and revenue and gross margin." You can also start from a template so your data lands in a layout you have already seen.

4

Review the dashboard

Generation takes 30 to 60 seconds. You get KPI cards, charts and a sortable table built from your real columns. On a subscription you can keep refining it with plain-language edits, such as changing a chart type or adding a filter.

5

Share the link

The dashboard is online at its own address the moment it is generated. Send the link, embed it in an intranet page, or add a password on a paid plan so only your team can open it.

Live sheet or one-off file

Live: connect a Google Sheet

The dashboard reads the sheet every time it is opened. Update the P&L export and the dashboard is current on the next load. No re-uploads. Also works with Excel files stored on Google Drive.

One-off: upload a file

Upload Excel, CSV or JSON up to 20 MB. Good for a month-end report or a one-time analysis. Rebuild it with next month's file by using the dashboard as a template.

Common questions

How long does it take to get a customer analytics dashboard for finance?

About a minute. Upload the file or connect the sheet, click Create, and the dashboard is online at its own link within 30 to 60 seconds.

Do I need to change my spreadsheet first?

Usually not. Keep one header row and one value per cell, and remove any totals row at the bottom. A customer analytics dashboard typically uses columns such as customer id, signup or first purchase date, segment or plan, activity or spend, status. If your P&L export has different column names, that is fine; the AI reads what is there.

Does the dashboard update when the spreadsheet changes?

Yes, if you connect a Google Sheet or an Excel file stored on Google Drive. The dashboard reads the sheet every time it is opened, so it always shows the current revenue and gross margin. An uploaded file produces a one-off dashboard; to refresh it with next month's export, use the existing dashboard as a template and upload the new file.

What happens to my finance data?

Your file is stored encrypted and deleted as soon as the dashboard is live. The AI model receives column names, a small sample of rows and summary statistics, never the whole file, and it is not used for training. Dashboards are public by link by default; on paid plans you can make a dashboard private with a password. Details are on our "How we handle your data" page.

What does it cost?

A single dashboard costs $0.99 and stays online for 30 days. The Starter plan is $10 per month for unlimited live dashboards that stay online, password protection, team sharing and editing with prompts.

Can my team see it without an account?

Yes. Anyone with the link can open the dashboard; they do not need a VibeFactory account. Paid plans can add a password, and can give teammates access to edit the dashboard.
